I've been agonizing over what to blog about since

Many 1UPpers will recognize him as the composer of several amazing gaming soundtracks including, but not limited to, the Chrono series, Xenogears, Xenosaga, Xenoblade, the Shadow Hearts series, and Mario Party 1 and 2. His music is characterized by [game news] Celtic musical styles, pan flute, jazz underpinnings, and a general lush, verdant "green" sound.

I first took notice of his work in Chrono Trigger, like many gamers my age. I remember being haunted by the soundtrack, I could not get those songs out of my head. But many people are already familiar with these soundtracks, and they've been discussed to death here and elsewhere. So let's look at a few of Mitsuda's albums/compositions that are less known.

Kirite is my muse. The album I put on when I want to create. Kirite isn't actually a game soundtrack, it's more like a companion soundtrack to go alongside a short story by the same name. The story having been written by none other than Masato Kato, the story planner and script writer for many of Squaresoft's best games of the time, including the [katy perry news] Chrono and Final Fantasy series! Kirite's tracks are named well enough to understand bits and pieces of the story. This album has a vocalist on it by the name of Eri Kawai, adding a nice human element to the songs. It really has the "Mitsuda sound" factor going for it. Kirite has alot in common with the Chrono Cross soundtrack, which I love. They both have a very organic sound to them, creating images of lush green landscapes and beautiful vistas in your mind.

"We're excited to be MMO Guildsites' solution of choice. They have an exceptional offering," says George Karidis, chief strategy officer for SoftLayer. "And we're proud of our role in the online gaming industry. We are an established leader in the segment, with a strong and growing customer base. Clearly, our level of performance and connectivity, as well as our interconnected facilities from coast to coast, have made us an ideal resource for the industry."

The Toronto, Canada-based MMO Guildsites offers services to help massive multiplayer online role playing game guilds to create feature-rich sites for its membership. It says it offers such site-building features as a design tool with an advanced AJAX interface, a visual theming tool with a library of 80 professionally designed themes and add-ins that integrate game activity into the guild sites.

Founded in 2006, the company has grown to host more than 700 sites for guilds worldwide, representing major game titles including World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy, and EverQuest. The company's growth forced MMO Guildsites to find a provider that offered the combination of network reliability, hardware and services to ensure positive experiences for itself and its expanding customer base.

MMO Guildsites decided to choose SoftLayer for the level of performance and stability needed to meet its growing technology needs. SoftLayer will provide the company with its quad processor multi-core platform, its secure, out-of-band management through VPN for full control of its environment, enabled by its network topology, as well as its customer portal that enables the company to track its customers' traffic and usage.

The Web host recently installed its second 10G connection in Seattle, Washington with backbone carrier Qwest.

A document is prepared to outline what the game is about

What characters are involved and what rules are to be implemented. Game Design is all about

creativity and coming up with ideas to make it better. The actual mechanics of the game would

be discussed and dealt with as the development of the game takes shape. It is almost like a

story board that is used by film directors before shooting a movie.

Video Game Testing plays

a very crucial role in the development of the game before it is released to the public. This

function is designed to iron out any problems that may affect the enjoyment for the consumer.

Video Game Testing may seem like a dream job for a lot of people but it requires a great

degree of attention to detail and good communication skills to enable you to relay to the

rest of the team any bugs or problems that have been found. The testing begins as soon as the

first part of the game is ready and is an ongoing process designed to fix problems as soon as

possible. Testing does not only involve actual playing of the game, it may require the game

to be left on pause or stopped for prolonged periods to see if this has any effect on it.

Basically any scenario that could happen when the game is being played by the consumer will

be tested and reported on. Game Programming does not just consist of one person. There may be

a whole team to work on the game depending on its complexity. The lead programmer will work

with graphic designers, modelers and other programmers to construct the game. The type of

programming involved will depend on whether the game is designed for the PC or a particular

console such as the Playstation 3 or Xbox.

The language will be decided by the lead

programmer to take account of the ultimate format of the game. Game programming is becoming

more and more complex as the aspirations of the consumer demands newer and more innovative

games. The development of a video game demands very high standards form everyone in the team

from game design to game programming through to the video game tester, all must be very

professional in their approach as a great deal of money is now invested in these games. The

futures of all concerned could very well hinge on the success or failure of the next project.

Guide to Finding Work at Home Jobs
Looking for a work at home job? Here's everything you need to know about working at home, including where to find work at home job listings, the best sites for finding working at home jobs, and how to avoid work from home scams.

my profile:[

Real Work at Home Jobs

Are there real work at home jobs? Yes there are some, but, they are not nearly as plentiful as you would think considering the amount of interest there is in working from home. They are also difficult to find.

Finding work at home employment isn't easy. Despite all the online advertising you see, there aren't that many legimate work at home jobs. In fact, there are more scams than real work from home opportunities. Here's how to find work at home employment, research work at home opportunities to make sure they are legitimate and avoid scams.

Work at Home Job Listings

There are companies that hire for work from home jobs and you can find work at home job listings online. Job seekers who are interested in home employment need to spend a good deal of time searching for legitimate opportunities, as well as a significant amount of time weeding through scams.

Getting Started Working at Home

Many people who work from home started out working in an office, but, were able to arrange with their employer to work some or all of time at home. I have an acquaintance who relocated to Washington, DC. Her employer decided to enable her to work from home, rather than losing a valuable employee. I have another acquaintance who works part-time from the office and part-time from home in order to accommodate her child's school schedules. My sister-in-law schedules home nursing care visits from home. In those cases, employees, who had already proven themselves to be valuable to their employer, were able to negotiate flexible work schedules.

Companies That Hire Work From Home Employees

There are companies that hire employees directly to work from their homes. Check the sites that list work at home jobs. Some of these positions are those where you cover a territory, for an insurance company or a consumer products firm, for example, and spend some time on the road and some time in your home office. There are also customer service, recruiting, sales, scheduling, technical, writing, and telemarketing jobs available. In many cases, the jobs are part-time, commission-based, or pay a lump sum for a completed project.

In other cases, you can work as a home based agent where you are an employee of the company who works from a home office, providing customer service to client companies. Virtual assistants provide administrative, secretarial, and clerical support, as well as creative and/or technical services for clients.

Work at home transcriptionists are usually independent contractors who transcribe and edit recorded reports onto their home computer. Online tutors work for internet based companies that offer help, within a variety of subject areas, to students of all ages.

If you're looking to make a little extra money, paid surveys are a possibility, but do be careful about avoiding scams.

Full-time jobs that provide health insurance, a pension, vacation, and other benefits while you work full-time from home, especially if you don't have experience, are few and far between. Finding them online is a little like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Be Flexible

Flexibility is one key to successfully working from home. If you are willing to consider freelance or contract employment or willing to combine a couple of part-time positions, you'll have a greater chance of success in finding opportunities that are legitimate. It's also critically important to take the time to search for positions and to thoroughly research those that sound viable.
